    geared tuners by Grover are for ukulele. These gold tuners feature a one-piece back plate, brass gear, white, non-breakable buttons and knurled bushings just like those used on their Sta-Tite guitar machines. The string post is shortened to 1 inch with the string hole  .630 inches from the back of the base. The gear ratio is 14:1 provides for accurate tuning.
