    This is a reliable high temperature K-type thermocouple PK-1000 wire with a K-Type thermocouple probe. The sensor is housed at the tip of a 8 ft (2.5 meter) long wire probe, which has a high temperature mineral fiber insulation. It has a miniature k-type thermocouple connector that will work with digital K-type thermometers (see

    This thermocouple probe can used to measure air or gas temperatures, it can be attached to pipes or embedded into objects you want to measure. It is frequently used in kiln, furnace, forge and high temperature oven, for ceramics and metalworking.

    This thermocouple PK-1000 will read very low temperatures, if you have a suitable thermometer. I have tested this down to -350°F (-210°C) with my thermometer DT1311 and DT1312. My DT804 and DT804A only measure to -58°F.
