Product Instructions: Place Scumball in the Pool Skimmer or free float on the water in a hot tub/spa. When Scumball is saturated, replace with a new Scumball. Replace Scumball atleast every 30 days. Scumball turns brown as it absorbs oily residues, but is still collecting scum until it feels heavy and fully saturated!
