    Description

    Vintage Weston 5" diameter stainless steel temperature gauge with 3" probe on flexible mount.  The range of the gauge is 20-240

The brackets on the gauge and probe are not connected together (see photo 6), but this is not a problem because the gauge and probe are connected by a flexible metal bellows (also see photo 6) that is quite rigid (see photo 5).  The two brackets can be connected using two short bolts with nuts, if desired.  The probe fitting appears to be 1/2" NPT and can be tightened with a 7/8" wrench.  The model number on the face of the gauge is 265634-905 CH-G.
    I did not check the gauge for accuracy, but it reads 74 degrees in my house (see photo 2), which is where I keep my thermostat.  When I hold the probe in my hand for a few seconds, the needle moved to 93 degrees (see photo 7), which seems about right.
